Ippudo is perhaps the most famous Japanese Ramen restaurant outside of Japan. With outlets in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore (as well as more than 50 stores in Japan), Ippudo finally opened its first Taiwan branch in May 2012, and at the time of this writing, customers still have to queue for up to an hour to get a table. Reservations are not accepted.
