SLACKNESS! Yes. :nono:

I can't find a decent feckin' stream. I'm having to listen to it on the RADIO. In effing GERMAN! :bluemad:

God, I really hate football sometimes. Big, overpaid, unshaven cretins with long hair falling on the ground and crying like little girls.

What a turnaround! Penalty, red card for Szczęsny, substitute keeper saves the pen. Amazing game.

Well if they aren't going to ref to English standards then all bets are off! The Polish fell apart. Buggeration.

Next one up in ten. Just need to slip out for some beers.

Woof! Hungry-looking Russia tearing a poor Czech side apart here. 4-1 at the moment, but it could be 6 or 7.

A good start to the tournament. Russia have confirmed my expectation of their emerging as the best of the teams outside the Big Three.

I’m happy enough to have got both results right, but the icing on the cake is Szczęsny making a mistake to gift the Greeks their equalizer, and then getting himself sent off. He’s one of my least favourite footballers, winning an especially prominent place in my disfavour with his mouthing against Spurs last season. I hope the Polish media are absolutely roasting him.

I was also glad that Pav made a goal and then scored one himself during his short appearance as sub. He’s yet another of the players who Harry failed to get the best out of, and I’m sure he could have been a great success for Spurs under better management. It’d be rather nice if he won back a place in Russia’s starting line-up, and ended up among the tournament’s top scorers.

The worst bit is not being able to see any of it on TV – not even recorded highlights the morning after. Are we the only place in the world suffering from such deprivation?

IPTV and VPN's is the way to go. I don't have the local cable since ages.

The more times I watch Pav's brilliant pass for Russia's 3rd goal and the superb skills he displayed in bamboozling the defender and rocketing in a perfect strike to score the 4th, the more impressed I am by them.

Is he already a strong contender for player of the tournament after playing for less than 20 minutes, and will there be a better goal than that 4th one in the whole of this tournament? Can he still be left out of the starting lineup for Russia's next match? Will Harry be able to explain to Levy why he discarded this outstanding talent at such a hefty loss to Spurs? How many millions has that little cameo added to his value already? Will Abramovich be eyeing him up as a possible strike partner for Torres?

I like the guy a lot, and greatly enjoyed watching his celebrations and the congratulations he received from his teammates for each of those fine contributions.

I appreciate that hyperbole is a comforting milieu for you Omni, but no, not on your nellie. Scoring one and making one against a flailing ropey back-line after 180 minutes of tournament game time says very nearly nothing at all. Without even leaving players based in north London there was a better candidate in that game.

Now that's a more interesting shout. These things are subjective, of course, but it was a very sweet strike.

It's practically the same goal Pav scored against Chelski season before last. I was gutted when we sold him. If this tournament becomes a showcase of the talent Redknapp has squandered (Niko Kranjcar is gonna have a blinder too, and Robbie Keane, who was sold for organising a party, And poor old Jamma Defoe) the more the better. If it was the world cup Dos Santos would also be around to shame him up. 2 years ago the England squad was practically all spurs players (dawson, jenas, huddlestone, defoe, crouch, king, lennon) now who have we got in there? Scotty Parker.

Oh well.

Russia were fricking awesome.

Edit: They showed old Chesney watching the penalty being saved. He jumped up and screamed, "F*ck yeah," when it was saved. As we saw with Cech, when they don't have a solid defence in front of them these keepers quickly show how useless they truly are.

Disciplined display by Denmark, but the Oranje were toothless. 28 shots for the Netherlands and they couldn't find the net. Quite the upset. Kjaer looks the business at the back for the Danes, doesn't he?
