Postby maoman » Tue Apr 10, 2012 18:07

Having you been looking to meet some great people, have some drinks, and fill that spiritual void inside of you all at the same time? Well, save the date - 7:30 pm, April 19th we're going to have a Taiwanease Happy Hour at the Church Bar, Taipei's newest watering hole, run by our very own Lord Lucan!

Lord Lucan is offering us the following drink specials:

$100 Gold Medal Taiwan Beer (Draught)
$200 Guinness (Draught)
$150 standard drinks

The Church Bar is located at No. 16, Alley 19, Lane 216, Zhōngxiào East Road Section 4, Dà'ān District, Taipei

Click here for Church Bar's details in the Taiwanease Directory.
Be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle.

  Long overdue in my opinion
Mrs. jimipresley: You're scaring the girl!
jimipresley: Lili, you give the Taiwanese culture shock.
bismarck (aka Kal El): I woke up in a strange house next to a naked woman I'd never seen in my life, far from my scooter and I'd lost my house keys. At least I still had my underpants on.

It's been a while since my last confession... I know my presence was much missed at the last gathering, so I'll be sure to make it out for this one.

I won't be able to make it either. That's the evening for my inescapable class in tàijíquán -- a martial art dedicated to the ancient approach that "just because this is slow doesn't mean it can't make you ache all over."
