Normally Dopey Dog would be bothering the boy for some yogurt... but, this morning he was concentrating on his rope toy:

After an afternoon at the pool, Izzi was completely zonked. She couldn't even keep her eyes open for Beijing duck rolled up in the little pancakes, which is one of her favorite dishes!

Wow Elegua, stunning kids and how different looking (from each other) they both are. You must get that a lot! Nice pics.
I wish them all the luck that accompanies such malevolence.

Thanks Divea. I'm not sure where any of it comes from. Certainly not from me.

Funny, I don't hear that much. When I'm not around, people do ask if my son's father is an Aborigine, Filipino and back in the US, Indian . As for my daughter, they seem to get her father is me.

They are hugely different in every respect from personality to looks to whatever. Lets say I'm a much bigger believer in nature over nurture these days. They just came out of the box different (no naughty pun intended).

True that. We nurture our kids the same, and both are wired completely differently.

Jaboney,

Were you and your family at Mingde swimming pool a few weeks ago?

My girls and I were there on a Saturday morning and there was a family nearby with two little girls who look a lot your girls. I was the lazy mom with feet up on the bench reading a book on my iPhone
