My wife and I had a very nice evening here last night with friends. The food was good - special mention to the triangular moon shrimp cakes (月亮虾饼) - standard fare at any Thai restaurant, but done particularly nicely here. The cakes are thicker than usual, with actual pieces of shrimp inside, as opposed to the processed shrimp filling found in a lot of other places.

We had a couple of curries also, and a vegetable dish (kongxin cai in a shrimp sauce). They were all good. For dessert, we had the traditional "mo-mo cha-cha" ice dessert with coconut milk and tapioca, and my wife ordered rice dumplings with coconut milk. She didn't like them (they were slightly salty and sweet at the same time), so we traded. I liked them just fine.

The service was good, but not exceptional. (Hey, exceptional service is almost impossible to find in Taiwan)

One thing that struck as a little strange was the fact that this place is obviously positioning itself as an upscale eatery, yet the menus were already quite worn. And the English menus were nothing more than some A4 sheets of paper stapled together! It didn't affect our enjoyment of the meal, or the quality of the food, it was just a little weird. The bill for the four of us was under three thousand, including drinks and dessert.

The nicest thing about the place is definitely the ambience/view:

There's even an outdoor pool with transparent panels in the floor for the benefit of the people in the nightclub below.
