SAT MAY 19, 2012
Parents' Place
A couple of months ago, we ran a photography workshop for children aged five through twelve. It was really successful, and we are now holding another one on May 5th. Alex Lee will teach this session, too. Alex is an excellent photographer, and more importantly, he works really well with the kids and is very prepared. Last session, he taught several concepts and the children came away with a new understanding about photography and their cameras.
Numbers are limited to ten children, so if you would like your child to come along, learn about photography, and meet some other English-speaking kids, please sign up early!
*Alex has also asked children to prepare printouts of five photographs. They should try to have a central theme running through them. Please bring your own camera. It can be any kind of camera. Last session kids used I-phones and digital cameras.
Cost is TWD450/child, which includes snacks.
To sign up, register at http://www.parentsplace.com.twon the generic registration form. You can also PM me if you have any questions.
Parentsplace is in Neihu, right by Dahu MRT station. Its owner, Angie Chang is a doula and set up the space to cater for English-speaking families and to build community.
