I fondly predict a happy schism between parents, alcoholics and wall builders, with some interaction between the groups. Me, I would be a drunk wall builder who tried to play (within moral bounds) with the kids. I'd just be in the middle pissing off everyone. I would be best served with an 8 pack, Enigma and a three hour walk with the dogs.

asiababy's internet is out so she asked me to give an update on weather: it's no longer raining (we may even get some sun!) and the party is still on!

I'll be there with my three kids, I'll be bringing slong some activities for the kids and some wine for the adults. I've made some spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread for dinner.

Thank all for a really wonderful outing today. Nice weather, a babbly brook, beutiful view and what great company. Favorite part was watching kids slide bricks down for the retaining wall. I took a few pics and will get them too you when I get some dinner.

I've seen pics of your place before and would have loved to have spent time with you fine folks, but - alas - my better half was returning from travels to Kaohsiung yesterday and I felt it best to preserve domestic bliss by not having our own abode deserted upon his arrival in Yonghe.

I do hope you'll have another get together at some point in the future.
