Stroller?

Postby nwr » Sun Jan 22, 2012 22:39

Hi guys,

where can I buy a quality stroller - but not overpriced?
Or is it better to have someone bring a stroller from the States?

Also looking for a place to buy a changing table, baby bed, etc...

thanks :-)

ikea has cheap beds, changing mats etc. for other essentials there are plenty of local baby shops in various areas eg there's a good one on Ankeng rd and another on Nanjing E rd. it depends where you are

I'm told strollers and car seats are cheaper in the States, so yeah, if you have someone visiting who can bring one, go for it.

Thanks guys.
So far I've cruised a few stores, including big malls and they will usually only have 3-4 models. So I thought maybe someone of you knows a place with more choice, but yeah, the prices for imported brands of course are higher here...

Hi Nadya,

Sometimes you can pick up some really great deals here on gently used baby furniture! Try posting some WTB (Want To Buy) ads at Taiwanted.com. You can log in with the same password.

Just recently I helped a friend get a second-hand Ikea crib in like-new condition for only NT1000!

Good luck!

Zooper makes good strollers (and they're a Taiwan company!) Strollers are mostly made in China and sold in the U.S. but you can buy them in Xizhi:
