Best Surf Car

I'm looking for a new surf car-has to be
1. Roomy and comfortable. Long enough for racks and long boards/paddle boards. Roomy enough to haul beach umbrellas, 2 dogs, inebriated beach bunnies, ice chest, beach chairs, hammock, surf gear. Comfortable enough to be in for 12 hour surf sufaris and wave hunts.
2. A beater-Nothing good looking but good engine and tranny.
3. AC-Heat-need both so Zace is out.
4. Cheap

I'm driving a '96 Cefiro which is actually a great car but is falling apart bit by bit.
Any suggestions?

You want a reliable, cheap vehicle with good air con and heater. Well, it all depends on your budget. I might suggest a budget of around 350,000NT to begin looking really, but your post sounds to me as if its a cheapy cheap budget. Somewhere perhaps around the 100,000NT range and in this case it isn't going to be credible I'm afraid.
